Please be informed that Winel has a new exclusive agent for representing our company in India. Our cooperation with Stan International has come to an end.

From July 18, 2011 on, our new exclusive representing agent for India will be Vanson Engineering pvt. Ltd. They have a long term experiene in the Indian Shipbuilding Industry and are already representing European Marine companies for many years.

More and more Classification Societies and foreign shipyards are nowadays demanding a certain objective qualitiy standard of the maker of type approved products, compliance to ISO 9001.

It is therefore that we decided to qualify ourselves for the ISO 9001 system in 2011. In May we have been audited by Bureau Veritas and passed the tests. In April 2011 Winel is certified by Bureau Veritas for ISO 9001:2008 for the period of three years.

We have obtained a type approval of Lloyd's Register for our tank vent check valves type RMO ND300.  The certificate will be available on the website soon.

Winel supplies a complete series yachtbuilding hatches that meet ABS regulations to Benetti Livorno. The gassprings as well as the hinges are covered and premounted by us. Please ask our sales department for more information about the advantages of these hatches.

May 2011 

Winel got the order for all the tank vent check valves on board of the new Deep Water Construction Vessel "Aegir", currently being built in Korea. The biggest RM type tank vent check valves, fully approved by LR, will be installed.

October 2010

In close cooperation with the engineers of HMC, Winel supplied a complete new watertight door system on board of the DCV Balder.

The installation consists of a large number of horizontal and vertical sliding doors and hinged doors. All doors are designed and tested to withstand a water pressure over 45 mWc. The engineers of Winel designed a complete new control system based on PLC technics in which others systems, as valves for ventilation and ballast water, were integrated.

Service engineers went offshore in the Gulf of Mexico for the final commissioning. Winel fulfilled the aim of HMC to do the job during the operation of the Balder so the downtime of   the DCV was as less as possible.

Our Staalart team has been reinforced by a new project manager, Mr. Willem Heres.

After his naval architecture study at the HTS Haarlem he gained experience in the commercial shipbuilding. He is specialised in the yacht building industry by working as a production manager for a prominent Dutch Mega Yacht building company for several years. With this experience he is well known with the high quality demands of our customers and is able to take excellent care of the complete project management.

We have received a new ABS type approval certificate. In addition the biggest types tank vent check valves RM ND 400 and 450 are tested and approved now.

The Type Approvals we have obtained can be easily found. Just select a product in the product menu and the certificates are shown in the right column.
